Extrudr XPETG MATT Anthrazite is a premium 3D printing filament based on PETG, characterized by its matte surface finish and elegant dark anthracite color. This material combines the beneficial properties of PETG, such as high toughness and chemical resistance, with an improved aesthetic that eliminates the need for post-processing. XPETG MATT is less prone to fingerprints and reflections, making it ideal for both functional and aesthetic prints. The chemical composition has been optimized to ensure low shrinkage and good adhesion to common print beds. For optimal results, a nozzle temperature between 240°C and 260°C and a heated bed temperature of 70°C to 80°C are recommended. While an enclosure is optional, it can be beneficial for larger objects. Due to its strength and heat resistance, this filament is perfect for mechanical parts, casings, electronics housings, and decorative items. Note that PETG tends to string more than PLA, though this can be minimized with precise retraction settings. Adequate ventilation is recommended during printing to ensure a healthy working environment.
