The ABS ESD material from the French manufacturer Kimya is a modified ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer) that is ESD-safe. The material is therefore suitable for applications that come into contact with electrical components. In particular, housing parts for electrical components often require ESD safety. In addition to its beneficial electrical properties, this filament also offers several advantages for mechanical applications. The standard version is exceptionally impact-resistant, prints easily, has minimal warping, and produces an extremely attractive surface finish.
