The ABS-S 3D printing filament from Kimya is one of the standard filaments of the French manufacturer. ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadien-Styrene Copolymer) is a widely used plastic, which is widely used in the packaging industry and in everyday objects. Compared to PLA, ABS offers several advantages. ABS is more heat resistant and impact resistant. The material is generally tough and does not break as quickly and easily as PLA (polylactic acid), for example. With a heat resistance of approx. 90°C, the material is suitable for components that are left in the car on hot summer days, for example. ABS is one of the standard materials, which is often used by private users. Kimya ABS-S is suitable for all applications where standard PLA is not sufficient in terms of properties. ABS is often used to print components such as brackets, bumpers or handles. In addition, the material is widely used in the packaging industry or for bread boxes, for example. The popular clamp modules and children's toys are also made of ABS in most cases.
