Kimya ASA-S Natural is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA), known as an ideal alternative to ABS. This material is distinguished by its excellent weather resistance and UV stability, making it suitable for outdoor use without yellowing or becoming brittle. With a diameter of 1.75 mm and a weight of 500 g, the filament offers precise processing and is compatible with most common 3D printers. The recommended printing temperatures range between 240 °C and 260 °C, while the heated bed temperature should be set between 80 °C and 100 °C. An enclosed build chamber is recommended to minimize warping. The strengths of ASA-S include its high toughness, good heat resistance, and ease of post-processing. However, the material may cause increased fumes at high printing speeds, so proper ventilation is advised. Suitable applications include functional prototypes, automotive parts, outdoor installations, and enclosures that need to withstand permanent environmental exposure.
