Kimya PLA-R is a recycled PLA (Polylactide), which is made from old toner and ink cartridges of the Armor Group, the parent company of the French manufacturer Kimya. PLA-R filament consists of over 97% recycled material. The natural colour version has no additives, so the filament can be completely degraded under industrial conditions. Kimya's recycled PLA-R is compatible with the NF EN 13432 and NF EN 14995 biodegradability standards at 1mm wall thickness. This means that the material is certified for industrial compostability. Since this filament can be printed as easily as standard PLA, it can also be used for the same applications. PLA is often used for design prototypes as well as for brackets that only have to withstand simple mechanical loads. In addition, PLA produces a very high print quality, so that more complex geometries such as fine details, large components and steep overhangs are also possible. We recommend PLA-R for all components that do not have high requirements for temperature resistance or mechanical stress. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
