Polymaker PolyLite PLA Green is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on Polylactic Acid (PLA), known for its excellent printability and reliability. Optimized for everyday use, this filament offers an outstanding balance between ease of handling and mechanical strength. It is particularly suitable for beginners due to its consistent printing performance and minimal warping issues. Recommended printing temperatures range from 190°C to 230°C, compatible with most common 3D printers. A heated bed temperature of 25°C to 60°C is recommended, though a heated bed is not strictly necessary, it can be beneficial for larger models. PolyLite PLA is ideal for a wide range of applications, including prototyping, decorative objects, toys, and functional parts with moderate mechanical requirements. Key strengths of this filament include its high surface quality, low odor emission during printing, and being more environmentally friendly than many other plastics. A limitation, however, is that PLA is not heat-resistant and may soften at temperatures above 60°C, making it unsuitable for high-temperature applications.
