Buddy3D ASA in Light Blue is a premium 3D printing filament by Prusa, specifically designed for outdoor use and demanding applications. ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) offers excellent UV resistance and weatherability, making it the ideal choice for objects exposed to direct sunlight. Unlike ABS, ASA produces less unpleasant odors during printing and features higher heat resistance. Recommended printing temperatures range between 240 °C and 260 °C, while the bed temperature should ideally be set between 90 °C and 110 °C. An enclosure is recommended to minimize warping, although ASA is less prone to delamination than ABS. This filament is perfect for functional prototypes, garden furniture, automotive parts, and other outdoor applications. Its strengths include high mechanical strength and good chemical resistance. Note that ASA can be prone to warping at high temperatures, making proper bed adhesion essential.
