Fiberthree F3 PA-CF Pro is a high-performance 3D printing filament based on Polyamide (Nylon), reinforced with 15% finely ground carbon fibers. This combination results in a material characterized by exceptional stiffness and dimensional stability. Compared to pure PA6, this filament exhibits significantly reduced moisture absorption and lower shrinkage during the cooling process, greatly enhancing print quality. The carbon fiber reinforcement gives the printed part a matte, textured surface, an attractive dark color, and increased wear resistance. Tensile strength and heat deflection temperature are significantly improved compared to unreinforced nylon grades, making it ideal for mechanically stressed applications. Due to the abrasive nature of carbon fibers, the use of a hardened steel nozzle is mandatory to prevent premature wear of the hotend. This material is perfectly suited for functional prototypes, robust tools, gears, and machine parts in industrial environments. It is recommended to heat the print chamber to prevent layer delamination and to thoroughly dry the filament before printing, as PA-based materials are hygroscopic. Despite its high strength, the material is less impact-resistant than pure nylon and can be slightly more brittle at sharp corners.

Print TemperatureRecommended nozzle temperature range. Stay within range for best layer adhesion and surface quality
260°C - 290°C
Bed TemperatureHeated bed temperature to prevent warping. Some materials like PLA can print without a heated bed
80°C - 100°C
Diameter1.75mm is standard, 2.85mm for some printers
1.75 mm
Spool WeightNet weight of filament on the spool. Standard spools are 1kg (1000g)
