HT90 PA Nylon is a high-performance 3D printing filament based on polyamide, specifically developed for industrial applications and demanding prototypes. This material stands out due to its exceptional heat deflection temperature (HDT) of up to 90 °C, making it ideal for use in environments with elevated temperatures. Compared to standard nylon, HT90 PA offers improved stiffness and dimensionally stable parts while retaining the typical toughness and impact strength of polyamides. Optimal processing is achieved with nozzle temperatures between 260 °C and 280 °C combined with a heated print bed of 100 °C to 120 °C. Due to the hygroscopic nature of the material, the use of the included drying box before and during printing is strongly recommended to prevent print errors and ensure maximum mechanical strength. Typical applications include functional end-use parts, gears, bearings, automotive housings, and robust tools. While the material offers high mechanical load-bearing capacity, printing requires a stable ambient temperature to minimize warping.
