Prusa PLATE HOLDER Filament, made from high-quality PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified), offers the perfect balance of strength, toughness, and ease of use. Unlike standard PLA, PETG is more resistant to heat, chemicals, and mechanical stress, making it an ideal choice for functional prints and robust tools. With a diameter of 1.75 mm and a weight of 1000 g, this spool provides ample material for extensive projects. For optimal results, we recommend print temperatures between 230 °C and 250 °C and a heated bed temperature of 70–85 °C. Due to its low tendency to warp, PETG is suitable for larger objects, but an enclosed build chamber is recommended to ensure better layer adhesion. Cooling fans should be set to approximately 30–50 % to maintain interlayer strength. PLATE HOLDER is particularly suitable for mechanical parts, enclosures, tools, and items subject to daily wear. Its advantages include high impact resistance and good chemical resistance. A minor drawback is the tendency for stringing, which can be minimized by fine-tuning retraction settings. Prusa guarantees consistent quality and reliable printing results.
