Prusa Spool Holder R PETG filament is designed for producing durable and reliable 3D prints. PETG combines the ease of printing of PLA with the strength and thermal resistance of ABS. This material is perfect for functional parts that undergo stress, such as tool holders, enclosures, and mechanical components. Recommended print settings include a nozzle temperature of 230–255°C and a heated bed temperature of 70–80°C. While an enclosure is not mandatory, it can help reduce warping for larger prints. PETG is resistant to moisture and many chemicals, making it versatile for various applications. Key strengths include its toughness and excellent bed adhesion. However, PETG is prone to stringing and requires fine-tuning of retraction settings. It should also be stored in a dry place to maintain print quality.
