Prusament PETG Orange for PPE is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on PETG, specifically optimized for the production of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). PETG combines the advantageous properties of PET (durability, chemical resistance) with the ease of processing of PLA. This filament stands out for its high toughness and impact strength, making it ideal for objects that must withstand mechanical stress, such as face shields or brackets. The material is recyclable and biodegradable under industrial conditions, making it a more eco-friendly choice compared to ABS. For optimal print results, a nozzle temperature between 230 °C and 250 °C and a bed temperature of 50 °C to 75 °C are recommended. Due to its low tendency to shrink and warp, PETG is easy to print, though it requires good cooling to minimize stringing. Although marked as 'Clearance', this filament still offers the reliable quality and precise tolerances expected from Prusa products. It is excellent for functional prints, medical aids (not for sterile applications), and robust everyday items.
