The Prusament PETG Transparent Bundle 5+1 FREE is the perfect solution for makers needing high-quality transparent PETG filament. Prusament is renowned for its excellent roundness and extremely tight diameter tolerances, ensuring consistent prints and reliable flow. PETG material combines the strength of ABS with the ease of printing PLA. It is resistant to chemicals, more heat-resistant than PLA, and offers high toughness and good layer adhesion. The transparent look is especially suitable for decorative objects, lamp shades, or functional parts where light transmission is desired. For best results, we recommend a printing temperature between 230°C and 250°C and a heated bed at 70–90°C. A good adhesive surface such as glue stick or lacquer is recommended. Due to the transparency, print speed and cooling should be adjusted to optimize light transmission. PETG is hygroscopic, so drying before printing is advisable. Note that PETG can be prone to stringing, which can be minimized with precise retraction settings.
