Prusament PLA Jet Black is a premium 3D printing filament made from Polylactic Acid (PLA), designed for precise and reliable printing results. This material stands out for its ease of use, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced users. With minimal shrinkage and excellent bed adhesion, it delivers consistent results, while its high stiffness and toughness ensure durable parts. The deep black shade of 'Jet Black' gives printed models a professional and sleek look. PLA is biodegradable and derived from renewable resources, making it an eco-friendly choice. Recommended printing temperatures range from 195 °C to 215 °C, with a bed temperature of 50–60 °C for optimal adhesion. Active cooling enhances fine details. Suitable applications include prototyping, decorative objects, enclosures, and small functional parts. However, PLA is less heat-resistant and may deform at temperatures above 60 °C, limiting its use outdoors or in hot environments. With NFC compatibility, the filament can be easily identified and managed.
