Prusament Woodfill Linden Light is a premium 3D printing filament that combines real wood fibers with PLA. This unique blend allows you to create objects that not only look like wood but also feature a similar texture. The Linden wood scent during printing adds an authentic touch to the creative process. Due to the wood content, the material is slightly abrasive compared to standard PLA, so a hardened steel nozzle is recommended to minimize wear. For optimal results, maintain a print temperature between 200 and 220 °C and a bed temperature of 50-60 °C. Printing at a slower speed with a nozzle size of 0.6 mm or larger helps prevent clogs and accentuates the wood grain effect. Woodfill is perfect for decorative items, vases, picture frames, and architectural models. Post-processing is similar to real wood; parts can be sanded, stained, or varnished. However, keep in mind that the mechanical strength is lower than pure PLA due to the wood particles, and fine details may be harder to achieve.
