Hyper Speed ABS Filament for High-Speed 3D Printing The Hyper Speed ABS filament was developed specifically for the Hyper FFF solution and is part of the Hyper Speed filament series. When printing at high speeds, conventional ABS filament is fed into the heating block rapidly, leaving the polymer little time to transition from a solid to a molten state. This can lead to nozzle clogs and poor layer adhesion. Additionally, standard ABS filament tends to warp and cause the printed part to detach during high-speed printing without a heated chamber. Thanks to its optimized molecular weight and stiffness, Hyper Speed ABS filament can be printed at speeds of up to 300 mm/s. It melts faster and cools more evenly, resulting in a lower temperature gradient and less internal stress in the printed part. Compared to conventional ABS filament, Hyper Speed ABS filament offers higher heat resistance. With virtually no warping and improved interlayer adhesion, this filament is ideal for functional prototypes, tools, and fixtures that require various post-processing and finishing options such as polishing and acetone vapor smoothing. Current version: Raise3D Hyper Speed ABS V2, updated from the previous version.
