Recreus FilaFlex Balena Natural is a premium TPU filament (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) known for its exceptional flexibility and toughness. With a Shore hardness of approximately 82A, this material offers an ideal balance between elasticity and stability, making it highly versatile. The Natural color allows for easy dyeing or painting of printed objects. For optimal results, a print temperature of 220–240 °C and a heated bed temperature of 45–60 °C are recommended. A slow print speed of 15–30 mm/s and a direct drive extruder are advised to prevent jams and ensure even layering. Applications include flexible enclosures, shock absorbers, protective cases for electronics, and medical models. Strengths include high abrasion resistance and ease of use, while limitations include the need for a direct drive extruder and limited heat resistance.
