Recreus FilaFlex 95A 'Foamy' in Natural is a premium TPU filament (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) distinguished by its exceptional softness and unique foam-like character. With a Shore hardness of 95A, this material offers a superior level of flexibility and elasticity, making it ideal for applications requiring a cushioned or springy feel. Thanks to its special formulation, the 'Foamy' effect is particularly pronounced: surfaces feel soft and absorb shock, similar to closed-cell foam. For optimal results, we recommend a printing temperature between 220 °C and 240 °C, along with a heated print bed at 45 °C to 60 °C to ensure proper adhesion. A direct drive extruder is essential, as the material is highly flexible and may tangle in Bowden systems. FilaFlex 95A is perfect for creating custom insoles, soft grips, shock-absorbing protective cases, or realistic cosplay accessories. Despite its high elasticity, the material is abrasion-resistant and durable. It is important to note that print speed and temperature must be finely tuned to achieve clean prints without clogs. In Natural color, the filament provides a neutral base that can be easily post-processed or painted.
