SainSmart TPU filament is known for its high strength and flexibility, resembling a hybrid of plastic and rubber. With a 95A hardness, it offers excellent abrasion resistance and low compression compared to rubber parts, especially at higher infill. Unlike common filaments like PLA and ABS, TPU must be printed much slower. The Rep-Flex TPU material is vacuum-sealed with desiccant. It features a 1.75mm diameter (±0.05mm), total spool weight 1kg (net weight 0.8kg). Recommended extruder temperature is 195-230°C, and platform temperature 40-60°C. Ideal for printers with direct drive extruders and 0.4-0.8mm nozzles. For Bowden extruders, print slowly (15-30mm/s), disable retraction, and turn on cooling after the first layer. Slow printing is key to avoiding issues.
