NYLONSainsmart
SainSmart ePA12-CF Carbon Fiber Nylon Filament (1.75mm, 0.5kg) combines PA12 nylon with 15% carbon fiber for exceptional mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and dimensional accuracy. This high-performance material is widely used in prototyping and end-use parts for robotics, drones, automotive, and aviation industries, offering reduced shrinkage and improved layer adhesion. Note: Due to its abrasive nature, hardened steel nozzles (0.6mm or larger) are recommended to prevent wear on standard brass nozzles. For optimal results, dry the filament before printing and maintain a stable ambient temperature with a heated enclosure. Print Temp: 280°C - 300°C, Bed Temp: 45°C - 60°C, Fan Speed: 0%, Print Speed: 40-100mm/s. Achieve precise, durable prints with this advanced composite filament.

Bed TemperatureHeated bed temperature to prevent warping. Some materials like PLA can print without a heated bed
45°C - 60°C
Diameter1.75mm is standard, 2.85mm for some printers
1.75 mm
Spool WeightNet weight of filament on the spool. Standard spools are 1kg (1000g)
500g
DensityMaterial density affects part weight. Higher density = heavier prints for the same volume
1.24 g/cm³
ReinforcementFiber reinforcement (Carbon/Glass/Kevlar) adds strength and stiffness but increases nozzle wear — use a hardened steel nozzle
