Blue

Ultimaker PETG filament in Blue is a premium choice for demanding 3D printing projects that require a blend of strength, toughness, and chemical resistance. As a Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol material, PETG combines the beneficial properties of ABS and PLA: it is tougher than PLA but easier to print than ABS. This filament offers good heat resistance and is resistant to many acids and oils, making it ideal for functional parts and use in harsh environments. Due to low shrinkage, PETG rarely warps, making it suitable for large prints. For optimal results, a printing temperature between 230 and 260 °C and a heated bed temperature of 70 to 80 °C are recommended. An enclosure is optional but can help minimize air currents for large objects. Suitable applications include mechanical parts, enclosures, brackets, and containers for liquids. Note that PETG tends to string slightly more than PLA, which can be minimized by fine-tuning retraction settings. With a diameter of 2.85 mm and a weight of 750 g, this spool provides ample material for extensive projects.
