Ultimaker PETG filament in Orange (2.85 mm, 750 g) combines the ease of use of PLA with the strength and durability of ABS. This versatile material offers excellent toughness and impact resistance, making it ideal for functional prints and mechanically stressed parts. PETG is resistant to chemicals and moisture, with minimal shrinkage and good layer adhesion, reducing the risk of warping. Recommended print settings include a nozzle temperature of 240–260 °C and a heated bed temperature of 70–80 °C. A heated build plate and adhesion aids like glue or stick are recommended for optimal bed adhesion. Suitable applications include mechanical parts, enclosures, and food-safe containers, as PETG is FDA-compliant. Strengths include transparency, weather resistance, and low warping, while limitations include a tendency to string and the need for proper ventilation during printing.
