Bambu Lab PLA Glow in Pink is a fascinating 3D printing filament that stands out not only for its vibrant appearance but also for its luminous glow in the dark. Based on high-quality Polylactic Acid (PLA), this filament offers an excellent balance of ease of printing and visual appeal. The material is biodegradable and features low shrinkage and good bed adhesion, making it particularly user-friendly. The glow effect is achieved through phosphorescent pigments that emit light in the dark after being charged by light sources such as sunlight or lamps. For optimal results, a printing temperature between 200 °C and 230 °C and a bed temperature of 45 °C to 60 °C are recommended. Due to the additives for the glow effect, the nozzle may experience increased wear compared to standard PLA; a hardened steel or brass nozzle is therefore advisable. This filament is ideal for decorative objects, toys, Halloween decorations, or safety markers that need to be visible in the dark. Note that PLA is not heat-resistant and may deform at temperatures above 60 °C. Additionally, the glow effect is often more pronounced when printed in lighter colors or with thicker walls. For technical applications with high mechanical stress, PLA is less suitable.
