Bambu Lab PLA Silk offers a silky, high-gloss finish that gives your prints a luxurious look while retaining the ease of use of PLA. Unlike other silk filaments, Bambu PLA Silk has been hardened and exhibits higher tensile strength when printed with AMS. It is ideal for decorations, artistic projects, and 3D character models, or any parts that need to be shinier. Bambu Lab PLA Silk gives your 3D prints a silk-like appearance and long-lasting high gloss, transforming your models into stunning works of art. Compared to standard PLA Silk, Bambu Lab PLA Silk has been made tougher and exhibits higher tensile strength during AMS printing. The visual gloss of the model printed with Silk can be controlled by adjusting the print temperature and speed. For glossier surfaces, higher print temperatures and/or lower speeds are recommended. RFID for smart printing All print parameters are embedded in the RFID tag, which can be read via the AMS (Automatic Material System). Load and print! No more tedious adjustments. Pre-print curing settings: 55 °C, 8 h. Print and maintain humidity in the chamber < 20% RH (sealed, with desiccant). Nozzle temperature: 210–240 °C. Bed temperature (with PVP adhesive): 35–45 °C Print speed < 250 mm/s
