Extrudr PETG Violet is a premium 3D printing filament based on PETG, distinguished by its vibrant violet color. PETG (glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate) combines the best qualities of ABS and PLA: it is durable, tough, and resistant to chemicals and UV radiation, yet easy to print. The material emits minimal odor during printing and is less prone to warping than ABS. Recommended printing temperatures range from 220 to 240 °C, with a heated print bed at 70 to 80 °C ensuring optimal adhesion. Using an exhaust fan or ventilation is advisable. PETG is ideal for functional parts, enclosures, mechanical components, and outdoor applications. Its strengths include high impact resistance and translucency, while limited heat resistance (around 70 °C) can be a drawback. This 10g spool is perfect for test prints or small projects. Keep in mind that PETG is hygroscopic, so dry storage is recommended.
