BASF Ultrafuse TPU 64D combines the best of both worlds: It is a strong but flexible filament for Fused Filament Fabrication, suitable for all FFF printers. Building on BASF's decades of experience with flexible materials, this material is based on the proven thermoplastic polyurethane Elastollan, which stands for highest reliability, consistent product quality and cost efficiency. BASF Ultrafuse TPU 64D is easily compatible with water-soluble support materials. Its profile of properties makes Ultrafuse TPU64D an excellent alternative to rubber and ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer) for the manufacture of tools, appliances and mountings. BASF is the world's largest chemical company with sales of 59.3 billion euros (2019). Founded back in 1865 in Mannheim, Germany, the company now has a workforce of over 115,000 and is headquartered in Ludwigshafen on the Rhine. All 3D printing materials produced by BASF Forward AM are manufactured within the EU.
