PolyLite™ PLA is a high-quality PLA designed for reliability and easy printing. What is Jam-Free™ technology? Polymaker Jam-Free™ technology increases the heat resistance of the filament itself (not the printed part) to 140°C.This prevents jamming caused by thermal creep at the hot end.Heat creep refers to the process where heat spreads unevenly in the hot end, causing the filament to soften before entering the extruder chamber, and the filament to jam in the cold end due to expansion.Increasing the filament’s heat resistance from 60°C to 140°C ensures a jam-free experience.(Note that the printed part has the same heat resistance as standard PLA: ~60°C) Printing and drying settings? Print temperature: 190°C - 230°CBed temperature: 25°C - 60°CPrint speed: 40mm/s - 60mm/sFan: ON Retraction distance: 1 mmRetraction speed: 20 mm/sIndirect drive:Retraction distance: 3 mmRetraction speed: 40 mm/s Drying settings: 55°C for 6 hours(Only if the material has absorbed moisture) How strong is PolyLite™ PLA? PolyLite™ PLA is based on a high-molecular-weight PLA from Natureworks, making it one of the most stable PLA materials on the market. You can check the elastic modulus and flexural strength of PolyLite™ PLA in its TDS, which indicate its stiffness, and compare it with other materials in our portfolio.
