Polymaker PolyMax Tough PLA in Yellow is a high-performance 3D printing material that combines the ease of use of standard PLA with the toughness of ABS-like materials. Thanks to Polymaker's Nano-Reinforcement technology, this filament offers enhanced impact strength and toughness, making it significantly more resistant to breaks than conventional PLA. With a diameter of 1.75 mm and a weight of 750 g, it is ideal for precise prints. Recommended printing temperatures range from 210 °C to 230 °C, while the print bed should be heated to 60 °C to 80 °C. PolyMax Tough PLA is perfect for functional prototypes, mechanical parts, and enclosures that require higher durability. Its strengths include easy handling, low warping tendency, and the ability to print without a heated chamber. However, it is not as heat-resistant as ABS and should not be used in high-temperature environments.
