Polymaker PolyMax Tough PLA in Green is a high-performance 3D printing filament that combines the ease of use of standard PLA with the mechanical strength of engineering plastics. Featuring PolyMax™ technology, this material offers superior toughness and impact resistance, far exceeding that of conventional PLA filaments, without compromising on user-friendliness. It is ideal for functional prototypes, mechanical parts, and durable objects that need to withstand stress. Recommended print settings include a nozzle temperature of 190–230 °C and a heated bed temperature of 25–60 °C. The filament diameter is 1.75 mm, and the spool contains 750 g of material. Thanks to its low warping tendency, it is suitable for larger prints as well. Strengths include high impact resistance, excellent surface quality, and easy printability. A limitation to consider is that the heat resistance is similar to standard PLA, so use in high-temperature environments should be avoided.
