Polymaker PolyMax Tough PLA in White (1.75 mm, 750 g) is a premium 3D printing filament designed for applications requiring high toughness and mechanical durability. Unlike standard PLA, this material offers improved impact resistance and shock absorption without sacrificing the ease of printing associated with PLA. It is ideal for functional prototypes, mechanical parts, and enclosures that demand robustness. Recommended print settings range from 190°C to 230°C, with a heated bed (25–60°C) ensuring optimal adhesion. PolyMax Tough PLA is less prone to warping than ABS and minimizes delamination, making it easier to print large parts. Key strengths include high surface quality, low shrinkage, and good resistance to oils and greases. However, it is less heat-resistant than ABS or PETG, making it less suitable for high-temperature applications. With its clean white finish, this filament delivers professional and precise prints.
