Polymaker PolyMax Tough PLA in White is an advanced filament solution that combines the strengths of PLA with the toughness of ABS. This material is specifically designed for applications requiring higher mechanical load-bearing capacity than standard PLA. Thanks to Polymaker's proprietary nano-reinforcement technology, PolyMax Tough PLA delivers exceptional impact resistance and toughness without sacrificing the ease of printing PLA is known for. With a diameter of 2.85 mm and a weight of 750 g, it is ideal for precise prints on compatible 3D printers. Recommended print settings include a nozzle temperature of 210–230 °C and a heated bed temperature of 0–60 °C. The filament is particularly suitable for functional prototypes, mechanical parts, and enclosures that require some flexibility and durability. While like PLA-like materials, the maximum ambient temperature is limited, the improved toughness makes it a versatile choice for many applications. PolyMax Tough PLA is also ultrasonic weldable and offers good chemical resistance.
