Recreus FilaFlex 95A 'Foamy' Natural is a premium TPU filament (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) known for its exceptional elastic properties. With a Shore hardness of 95A, this material strikes a perfect balance between flexibility and stability, making it ideal for applications requiring both movement and durability. The unique 'Foamy' variant features a closed-cell structure that gives printed objects a soft, foam-like feel and makes them extremely lightweight. For printing, a nozzle temperature between 220°C and 240°C is recommended, while a heated print bed should be set between 0°C and 45°C. A slow print speed of 15 to 30 mm/s is advisable to achieve precise results. A direct drive extruder is essential, as the material's flexibility can cause jams in Bowden systems. Applications for FilaFlex 95A Foamy range from comfortable shoe insoles and cushioning to functional seals, shock absorbers, and flexible casings. Key strengths include high tear resistance, oil and abrasion resistance, and excellent shape memory. However, processing requires some experience, and complex geometries may present challenges without support structures. In its 'Natural' color, the filament offers a neutral base that can be easily painted or dyed.
