With a Shore hardness of 95A, this material strikes a perfect balance between flexibility and stability, making it ideal for applications requiring both movement and durability. The unique 'Foamy' variant features a closed-cell structure that gives printed objects a soft, foam-like feel and makes them extremely lightweight. For printing, a nozzle temperature between 220°C and 240°C is recommended, while a heated print bed should be set between 0°C and 45°C. A slow print speed of 15 to 30 mm/s is advisable to achieve precise results. A direct drive extruder is essential, as the material's flexibility can cause jams in Bowden systems. Applications for FilaFlex 95A Foamy range from comfortable shoe insoles and cushioning to functional seals, shock absorbers, and flexible casings.
