Recreus FilaFlex 95A 'Foamy' in Natural is a premium TPU filament distinguished by its unique foamy characteristics. With a Shore hardness of 95A, this material offers the perfect balance between flexibility and stability, making it ideal for applications requiring soft, grippy surfaces. The special 'Foamy' additive creates a microcellular structure within the printed object, resulting in reduced weight and a pleasant tactile feel. For optimal results, we recommend a nozzle temperature between 220°C and 240°C along with a heated print bed of 40°C to 60°C. Due to its flexibility, a Direct-Drive extruder is preferred, but with reduced print speeds (15-30 mm/s), it can also be processed on Bowden systems. Applications range from shock-absorbing elements and custom insoles to grippy handles and realistic dolls or toys. Key strengths include high abrasion resistance and excellent recovery, while limitations involve the need for slower print speeds and potential clogging risks if settings are incorrect.
