Recreus FilaFlex Balena Natural is a high-quality TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) filament known for its exceptional elasticity and toughness. As part of Recreus' renowned FilaFlex series, this material, developed in collaboration with the Balena team, offers an excellent balance of flexibility and strength, making it ideal for demanding 3D printing projects. With a diameter of 2.85 mm and a weight of 750 g, it is particularly suitable for printing complex, elastic components. FilaFlex Balena Natural is also biodegradable and free from harmful plasticizers, making it an eco-friendly choice. For optimal results, a nozzle temperature between 220°C and 240°C is recommended, while the heated bed can be set between 0°C and 50°C. Due to its flexibility, a direct-drive extruder is advised to ensure reliable material feeding. Applications include footwear, joint protection, seals, and other flexible mechanical parts. Its strengths lie in high resistance to wear and chemicals, as well as ease of use during printing.
