Extrudr DuraPro ASA Anthracite is a premium 3D printing filament based on Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate, specifically engineered for demanding outdoor applications. Unlike standard ABS, this material boasts exceptional weather resistance and high UV stability, ensuring that printed objects do not yellow or become brittle even after prolonged exposure to sunlight. The Anthracite color provides your prints with a professional and matte finish. DuraPro ASA also impresses with its good tensile strength and heat resistance, making it ideal for functional parts. For optimal results, printing in an enclosed chamber is recommended to minimize warping and ensure stable layer adhesion. The recommended printing temperature is between 240°C and 260°C, while the heated bed temperature should not fall below 100°C. Key strengths include low styrene emissions during printing and ease of post-processing. A limitation to note is its sensitivity to drafts, making a controlled environment essential. Suitable applications include automotive accessories, garden furniture components, electronic enclosures, and prototypes for outdoor use.
