Extrudr DuraPro ASA Metallik is a premium 3D printing filament based on ASA, featuring a striking metallic finish. ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) is renowned for its exceptional weather resistance and UV stability, making this filament perfect for outdoor applications. Compared to ABS, ASA offers improved heat resistance and less odor during printing. The metallic surface adds a durable, premium aesthetic to printed objects. For optimal results, a nozzle temperature between 240°C and 260°C and a heated bed at 90–110°C are recommended. An enclosed build chamber helps minimize warping. Suitable applications include garden furniture, automotive parts, decorative elements, and functional prototypes that combine visual appeal with mechanical performance. Strengths include high impact resistance and ease of post-processing. The main limitation is sensitivity to very high print speeds, which may cause delamination.
