Flashforge ASA in White is a high-quality 3D printing filament based on Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate, ideal for outdoor use and functional applications. ASA is characterized by excellent weather resistance, UV stability, and high heat deflection temperature, making it a superior alternative to ABS. This material offers good toughness and stiffness, enables precise prints, and is resistant to yellowing caused by sunlight. For optimal results, a heated print bed between 80 °C and 100 °C and an extruder temperature of 240 °C to 260 °C are recommended. Due to its lower tendency to warp compared to ABS, ASA is easier to print but requires good ventilation as fumes are generated during printing. Suitable applications include automotive parts, garden furniture, outdoor prototypes, and enclosures for electronic devices. Strengths lie in durability and surface quality, while limitations include the need for an enclosed chamber and sensitive processing at low temperatures. With a diameter of 1.75 mm and a weight of 1,000 g, this filament provides a sufficient quantity for extensive projects.
